Who We Are…  
Ned’s Club Washington DC is a new members’ club that is opening soon around the corner from the White House. It’s the second US based ‘Ned’ site to open following the launch of The Ned London in 2017.  
 
The Property…  
Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. 
 
The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-storey building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch. 
 
The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces. 
 
As an integral part of the Events Sales team, you will: 
  • Comply with company standards for
         sales and marketing, while working harmoniously and professionally with
         co-workers and Executive Committee 
  • Ensure that function set up meets or exceeds customer expectations by working closely with each group's meeting planners to determine their needs. Ensure proper communication and coordination to satisfy customer's requests. Assist customers in finalizing function details; suggests alternatives as appropriate  
  • Ensure that functions meet the customer's expectations by following up regularly on the status of functions including inspecting function rooms, greeting customer and follow up to see that customer needs are met; makes last-minute changes and additions to meet changing customer needs, coordinating outside vendor activity as necessary, conducting post-function reviews with customers and soliciting re-booking from meeting planners prior to customer's departure  
  • Maintain proper documentation of events, including complete programming of all sales and catering bookings  
  • Compile and review daily list of events, and conduct catering audits as needed  
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, tradeshows and entertainment as outlined 
  • Give personal attention, take personal responsibility and use teamwork when providing guest service 
  • Identify and utilize up sell opportunities to maximize sales above contracted minimum spend
