About our Company
We are seeking an experienced Security Agent with open availability to join our team.  A successful candidate will have a warm and welcoming personality, a genuine passion for the safety and security of our hotel guests and staff, hospitality industry experience, and a can-do spirit.

Responsibilities
  1. Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
  2. Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
  3. Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the company’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness
  4. Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect all hotel assets.
  5. Answer house calls, assist guests and employees with respect to safety, security and hotel operations
  6. Respond to all emergencies on property to include, but not limited to, fire, medical, severe weather and evacuation
  7. Initiate and follow-up all investigations of crimes committed against property and persons
  8. Assist ill and injured guests and employees, ensuring documentation and disposition of reports
  9. Initiate investigations, write incidents and accident reports, monitor investigations to their timely conclusion and ensure appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors and employees, documenting all contacts
  10. Watch for suspicious persons entering, exiting, or loitering around building 
  11. Conduct walk through observations of entire hotel  
  12. Promote safe work practices 
  13. Answer security telephone and safety hotline calls and respond in a timely manner based on priority
  14. Observe the security monitors for any unusual activity and in the case of suspicious behavior report directly, via radio, to the supervisor on duty; report any alarms similarly
  15. Maintain accurate records while performing basic office duties including, but not limited to, camera monitoring, shift activity log
  16. Take ownership of all service issues brought to your attention by guests
  17. Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
  18. Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
  19. Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions
  20. Be familiar with all safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements

Compensation: $19.50 per hour
